Job Description

Looking for a Quantitative Researcher who can develop strong foundations in research-based consulting. Assist and collaborate in the design, execution and delivery of projects. The incumbent will be responsible for specific project related tasks with the guidance of seniors.
Job Description:
  • Evaluating research briefs and outlining a suggested research approach to address the research needs
  • Writing research proposals based on the research briefs received from the client
  • Designing of research instruments (questionnaires/discussion guides)
  • Project Management including liaising with field work suppliers on
  • Cost requests
  • Field briefings including preparation of briefing document/guide
  • Field work monitoring and project updates
  • Ensuring timely completion and receipt of deliverables
  • Preparing data input/entry formats for surveys
  • Preparing analysis plans, data quality checks and data processing (tabulation and analysis)
  • Report writing
  • Preparing reporting templates
  • Creating first draft reports
  • Qualitative research initiatives including IDIs and Focus group moderation
  • Client Interfacing
  • Providing regular progress updates
  • Receiving, acknowledging and addressing client requests related to projects
  • Attending client meetings and presentations


Educational Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in Market Research

• Completed tertiary education – degree in marketing, e.g. BCom/BBA, preferably MBA

• Analytical ability with proven analytical skills (Skills will be tested)

• Computer literacy – proficiency on all MS Office packages

• Business writing skills

• Presentation skills

• Basic commercial skills (cost and time management)

• Strong attention to detail

• Marketing knowledge and thorough understanding of marketing research principles

• Design infographics is preferable however, it is not a must
